DVD RW Drive seen as a ROM drive [Archive]

View Full Version : DVD RW Drive seen as a ROM drive

Hi,

My two DVD rw drives are seen as Rom drives and I am unable to write to DVD rw discs on either drive. I have tried uninstalling the drives and reinstalling them but this has not corrected the problem. Any help/advice in getting them to work correctly would be much appreciated.

Yes, Definitely using the right media, It's been used successfully in the past in the same drive.
