Freezing issues

can anybody help, my pc keeps freezing and locking me out. this maily happens when i TRY to use the media keys on my keyboard and i have to restart the pc every time. i try ctrl+alt+del, it loads and locks-out again and eventually i have bout 14 task managers open.

also my media keys dont work after an update from logitech

any ideas, please help

Have you tried a different keyboard?

Sounds like a driver issue, try re-installing them, you could also try installing them in safe mode if that fails.

Don't use the copy on the CD, download the latest from the company's site.

I agree its drivers.

As a sidenote - you're not using vista x64 by any chance, the drivers supplied by logitech for my nulooq (its a tool for designers) are absolute rubbish on x64 (its emulated 32bit which doesn't work well).

i am running windows Xp Pro Sp2

I can move my mouse but i get no response from the computer, the media keys worked upto bout 3 weeks ago and now noting. it may have been when i updated the drivers from the site.
