Sorry 2 keep coming on with all these prombles with my laptops, but i have a different laptop which quite oftern "freezes" which is verey frustrating at times + cant move the mouse pointer or anything.
All i need 2 know is is this freezing a problem with the hard drive? which if i replace I assume will sort out the problem.
Or is the frezzzing a problem with the processor?

It could be due to any number of reasons.
Maybe it's time to think about reformatting/reinstalling?
Is there any kind of pattern to this freezing Does it happen after the laptop has been on for a while?
Are there any signs preceding the freeze?
Any programs that seem to trigger it?
Lastly, as soon as it freezes, put one ear near the laptop and see if you can hear the hard drive clicking. If you hear a steady clicking noise, like a metronome, back up all your data as fast as you can. Random and scattered clicks are normal, it's the regular steady click that means the hard drive is failing.

Sounds bad if even the mouse pointer isn't even moving :-S I was going to say check you haven't blocked any of the vents for the CPU, which might explain it going into a low-power, low-speed state. Otherwise it might just be bad software sending windows into a frenzy. Slim, slim chances it's a physical problem with the hardware, but you can't rule it out I guess :(
