EA will announce in a few weeks it's new venture..

On the release of Crysis Warhead, EA will offer buyers a range of PC's designed to play the game at several levels, ranging from a basic model (at around £200) to the high level version (from £400+).

It is thought EA will sell a range of pre-configured PC's for each of it's major titles.

*Note*
No official announcement of this has been released. We'll just have to wait and see if this will be US only or worldwide.

With EA being an American company, I bet it ends up being a US only promotion.

Quite frankly who wants EA to touch their computer on a level any deeper than installing their software?

I assume they've dropped the minimum requirements for the new game substantially then, if they reckon a £400 PC would have enough processing power to run it

I know that's the starting price... but you'd assume the basic £400 system, would also have to be capable of running it?
In reality however, I expect it would run Crysis Warhead, in much the same way as a basic/entry level "Vista Ready" system would run Vista

Either that or it's gonna be very cheap components that will fail in a few months. (Just in time to but a new PC with the next release) :D
