Apple are giving customers in Europe an unique experience to the way Apple view the world Economy.....
If you sign up for a trial for "Mobile Me" they take debit cards details to prove your identity. (Ed. Can you guess where this is going??)...
In it's Terms and conditions Apple Quotes:
Apple may seek authorization of your Credit Card account prior to your first purchase to validate that you can charge the applicable fees to access the Service. This authorization amount is typically the equivalent of one US dollar ($1USD).
Guess users surprise when they find out their debit card is now £121 lighter....
Yup! in Apple's World the US economy is so strong the US$ is worth £121.
If you want your money back you gotta cancel before the end of the trial (and wait nearly a week!). otherwise you've signed up for the service for 18 months!..
