Performance also. Runs @ 50fps Max Settings 1440 x 900 8AA 16AF - 9600GT | E6400 | 2GB | XP

There seems to be some sort of Bloom Bug, sometimes it doesnt apply...Also happened in DiRT.

Looks like Codemasters have taken in what people have said about Difficulty settings.....But now its WAY to easy:(

Just won a race by a fair margin, using the keyboard and had a few crashes mixed in aswell...in Savage mode ... Unless its because they give you a faster car (?)....Hope this gets sorted out for the release ;)

AI is pretty smart BTW.....xept when you slide into some tyres an they all go ploughin up your **** :p

Tried it on the 360; very polished (as usual for CM) and looks/plays great. Think of it as Colin McRae Dirt, but for roundy-roundy tarmac fans :) very similar visuals, good performance too.

Unfortunately no steering wheel on the 360 meant I didn't enjoy it as much as I could, so I'm downloading the PC version now to give it a try..

One thing I love is the smoke, in places its so real :D Way better than Pro Street...has more feel to it aswell to me, more enjoyable.

Looking forward to the release!

One annoying thing tho is the tyre squeeling...not very accurate, sounds like a whistling kettle :p

I've downloaded the demo but am so reluctant to play it. Otherwise I'll end up buying it! I have so many racing games that I still haven't finished! Trying to finish of Juiced 2 and Dirt before getting more. Even though I just got GT5 which is awesome and PGR4!

I loved the demo on 360! The drifiting event in particular was surprisingly good! Really wasnt expected it to feature in the game! They have done it so much better then Juiced and Need For Speed series have managed! Damm difficult to beat Top Secret though! I always end up a shade under 600k points :(

The handling is just like the rallycross events on dirt which I loved, so the pre order will be placed with some e - tailer very soon!

are you guys actually insinuating that that games 'juiced 2' and 'pro street' were actually worth spending time playing?

all they had were graphics

juiced 2 had me playing on the same 3 tracks over and over and over

pro street (only had the demo) but it looked to me like a re release of the original need for speeds and boasted their tyre smoke realism.

could be just me, but i dont think either of those 2 games are any good.

Played it on 360. Love the drifting element, done better than previous games. I feel that the handling is arcadey, but with Driving Assists off, it's a different story.

Edit just got 1st :) Next is Traction Control Off ;)

Just hit 1st with Everything Off :D Next I'll Use the wheel & Manual.

Also got a vid, with a MAJOR accident round the first lap by the leading car, he hits the barrier around 130 an goes hurtling into the air about 60feet :D
