The introduction of social networking to the forums has inspired me, and as we speak a team of elite forum members are on msn discussing a 4 day KPC road trip.
The plan so far is thus:

When the clubs have been confirmed I'll try and get in touch with them and see if we can sneak a video camera in so we can post our adventures somewhere,
You can subscribe to come along and meet at 1, 2, 3 or all of the parties, and as it's spread accross the UK hopefully we should get a good bunch together every night. Those hardcore enough to do all 4 we're planning on hiring a van.

At Oxegen for the first few days then Singapore for 6 weeks :D so won't be able to make it :( unless you happen to travel to Essex on the 20th

Yeah, Can do Notts for day 2 instead. Doesn't look like we've got any Leeds Kustomers anyway, and one of the Leeds lot that's not vanning is closer to Notts anywho.

G, I trust you'll be rallying round the local Ayr contingent to boost the numbers for the Ayr night again? Get those that are on the boards to drop in here so I can reflect the numbers in the post, and if Dave and whoever else are coming just LMK.
Looks like Ayr will be a great start to the 500 mile pub crawl of destiny!!

The Nottingham club choice depends what people are up for.
Friday night the most popular choices will be:
Love Shack (90s music, really good night)
Halo (although I have a feeling Fridays are students only, I'll check)
Gatecrasher (Fridays - Superstar Boudoir)
Oceana (I'll check but this could be 21+ only on Fridays)
But there are hundreds of bars to get wrecked in before hand. I'll have a think and will probably post more v. soon.
I could possibly be there for Brighton, but I may be doing jury duty depending how long it goes on for.

I'd be looking to stay over in brighton I think if I did come down. I'd be driving from newbury so could potentially offer lifts to anyone thatcham, reading way but no further afield. The reason I'm a possible is I could well be working for General Motors then, and training could well be in London! In which case I'd not be keen on tons of driving :)
I've meet up twice with people on Hexus.net forum social events now and it really is a great oppertunity to meet new people and have a great day at the same time! Might be a plan for Graeme to put the dates on facebook as well! I know I certainly find it handy to remind me of things I said i'll go to!

He was my old college lecturer before i left to go to uni. He started up that dance station beat 106 then sold it, made a million and lost a million apprently from what i was told.
Thnik he runs a promotion company or sommit and i don't know if he lectures at ayr college any more.
He was a nice guy and alway open to help the students.
I done the games once, tanned a pint in bout 2 seconds won that, won a race on my knees around the dance floor then the lassie that was to slap me punched me so so i was really quiet so lost to someone that lost the games lol. I was raging:)

I think a van would still be best as we'll have some right laughs, but I know it's difficult to find an 8 seater.
I would like to know how we intend to sleep, bearing in mind once we hit the clubs we won't be able to move the cars/van anywhere until late the next morning.
Those hardcore folks doing all 4 nights will also need somewhere to shower and stuff so I'm thinking travel lodges or something.
EDIT: Ben I just realised I still owe you money, I'll have it (plus interest) on the trip mate.

In answer to a couple of the queries above:
Plan for van = 2 cars in convoy. Six and I will be your chauffers. Walkie-talkies, jumpers for goalposts etc.
Plan for sleep = Ayr - G's (and other's kind offers)

Ok, may have some bad news. I don't think I can do the 19th anymore. If we could jumble the days around to after the 19th then maybe. Sorry everyone :( My nephew's first birthday during the day on the 19th and a surprise birthday party for a very good friend of mine in the evening. Plus I'm flying in from Spain first thing too!

I'm going to give advance warning that I'll probably have to drop out as well. Work are screwing us around with pay and expenses at the moment, to the tune of around £350 in my case and it's left a large hole in my finances which it's going to be a struggle to cope with.

I think at this point people should add any special requirements such as whether the named clubs (plus any other bars we go to) allow t-shirts, trainers etc or whether we'll need shirts/shoes.
It being Friday in Notts, shoes and shirts aren't a requirement for Love Shack or any bars we might visit beforehand.
Also, having been to Fury Murray's I think it's safe to say any clothes go.. :)

Fury's is about 3 minutes walk from G's
Love Shack is about 3 minutes walk from travel lodge.
Not sure about the other two, but I imagine a taxi between the bunch of us won't come to much.
Budget wise you need about £70 (2 x 35) for travel lodges, a few notes towards fuel, and 4 days worth of food and beer vouchers.
DO NOT FORGET A SLEEPING BAG FOR THE 2 NIGHTS WE'RE NOT IN TRAVEL LODGES!!!!

I went and bought loads of stuff tonight. Yummy looking burgers and kebab things and assorted spicy chicken.
I also found some Jack Daniels Barbeque sauce (yes) and probably the most awesome packet of marshmallows ever.
I asked the lady at Tesco if they sold nice weather too, but she couldn't direct me to the appropriate aisle.
I'm looking forward to Cambridge, even if it is going to be 6 hours of driving :eek:
