Check out our write-up / pics / video of the Razer 2.1 speakers.
They're rather nice.

good speakers and was thinking about buying them until I saw the price was hoping they would be around 150-200 lol.
Lot of money for 2.1 speakers that don't really have any toys (digital input, remote control, etc...)
My Logitech Z-5400s would probably trounce these, and they cost me £240 at the time, for 5.1, with three digital inputs, 6-chan analogue input, infra red remote, and the Dolby ProLogic II / DTS decoding.
Nice design, the satellites look like they could do a good job of dispersing the treble, but it's a very steep price for what you're getting...

Yeh, the price is definitely a negative point of them, and I do agree that the Logitech's perform well. The Razer's you would choose not just for the sound but because the look appealed - they really do stand out.
Though part of me wishes the logos on the top of each speaker glowed too.

I would go for those over any audophile Logitech ones :)
If only they didn't cost £300 (and I didn't already have a 5.1 set of speakers) :(
Yay about time had the suggestion thread open for ages about them

I saw these at the Kustom stand at i33, I'l probbaly be getting myself a set when they are released, the sound quality was phenom and I was really impressed with the control method.
They'll be excellent for my ipod and 360.

Christ, the pair of KRK monitors I have cost that...
They're a whole lot bigger than I imagined they'd be.
They look nice for sure, but I can't shake the feeling that I'd want something meatier for £300, especially when it's only a set of desktop 2.1.
If your selling your demo pair gimmie a shout ;)

Don't suppose they sell the control unit seperatly?

doubt it, it's not going to be much use on it's own anyway?
Would make a pleasing Kustom lighty-up coaster for beer-age, no?

I've got some light up drinks mats, the LEDs change colour and make (light coloured) drinks look funky.
You can get them from general gadget shops, and probably a bit cheaper than buying Razer speakers for that purpose :)

Ironic that someone with H/Ks doesn't have a taste of other strange designs ;)
