I promised I'd do this the other day, but I got kinda distracted!

OK, a brand new thread to illustrate just how much bad luck can rain down on one man of a weekend. Euphoria (Will) was at the Kustom Bike Meet in Ayr last weekend, and the following is a precis of his misery:

- Forgot to bring helmet
- Puncture number 1 after less than a quarter of the trail
- The heavens opening as he tried to fix said puncture! (a pic is available on the KPC facebook)
- Puncture number 2 just after a quarter of the trail
- Getting lost on the way back, shredding the tyre, and having to shelter in a Mondeo of unknown origin or ownership!
- Having a photo taken of him snoring :p
- Attempting to refuel Six5tring's (Ben's) car and snapping off the fuel cap
- Having Six5tring's (Ben's) car eat his new CD as revenge for the above

Bless :D

But are there anymore?

Me thinks that's the lot. I do have the CD back out of my car... had to get a .8 torx to get the thing apart though. If anyone needs a run through on how to get cd's out of skoda octavia radios though I now know how :)

All the mishaps did keep me entertained (and amazed!) all weekend though.

Ohhhh.... here's another.

Forgot to bring helmet.

- Attempting to refuel Six5tring's (Ben's) car and snapping off the fuel cap
This was highly amusing, after spending about 5 mins trying to find the button to open the cap and failing we sourced the help of a bloke filling up his Passat next to us, after a further 5 mins of this bloke telling us his Passat is the same car as the Octavia and that he was "confused" we called Ben who was adamant you just had to "pull it".
Will finally got it open after a further 2 mins or so of fiddling. I sat there patiently while he filled up then all of a sudden there was a bang and the petrol cover went bouncing across the forecourt. Turns out he'd just walked into it. :D

The Skoda equivalent to the Passat is the Superb. The Octavia is Golf-based.
