a bit more about the system would be useful, ie cpu, ram, os etc.

Remember KPC is a store so no linking to other stores etc so just list the items in your system.

you could have just done the basics ie cpu, psu, ram etc :D

But honestly (my opinion) it would probably be easier/cheaper to buy a whole new system for crysis and the likes

Welcome to the forums Shawy

Even though they no longer sell systems themselves... these forums are owned, run and paid for by the kind chaps of Kustom PCs (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/)... an online store which sells components and peripherals (amongst lots more).
For that reason, nobody is going to provide you with links to competitor stores which sell complete systems.

Suffice it to say... any system which has specs which include something along these lines, would do you for a good while to come:

Case: Various
PSU: It's vital you get a good one! Respected manufacturers include PCP&C (PC Power & Cooling), Corsair, Seasonic, Silverstone, Enermax, Tagan etc.
In fact, a system which includes a PSU from any of the manufacturers sold by Kustom (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_Power_Supplies_ATX_7.html) would be acceptable.
Mobo (motherboard): Popular manufacturers include Gigabyte, Asus, Abit, EVGA, DFI etc.
CPU: Dual core or quad core
RAM: 2GB - 4GB DDR II
Gfx: 256MB/512MB - i.e. Nvidia 8800GT/8800GTS/8800 GTX, or 512MB ATI HD3850/HD 3870
HDD (hard drive): 250GB - 750GB

The rest of the specs are relatively unimportant (optical drives etc).

A good pre-built system won't come cheap though. The better the specs, the more you'll have to pay, obviously.
So just Google around to see what sort of system is available on your budget.

Don't go jumping straight in at the deep end though!
If you see a couple of systems which catch your eye/are within your intended budget, list the specs in here, and you'll get advice from our clued-up forum members, on which would be the better choice.

Please remember not to link to the systems themselves though - since they'll inevitably be competitor sites.
Just list the main specs (case, PSU, mobo, RAM, gfx and HDD) ;)
