Well, if you still refuse to use Opera/Mozilla (both of which have inbuilt pop-up blocking) then you can try Junkbuster (http://junkbuster.com/) or Privoxy (http://www.privoxy.org/), which IIRC will also act as a referrer to let you do other funky stuff (I think it might even block banner ads from well known servers too).

But anyway, you should be browsing less pr0n sites :p

I dunno how Privoxy et al handle blobks from actual programs, a la iMesh. But chances are that iMesh just uses IE to draw the popups, so you can get around this by using a browser-based pop-up blocker (ie Privoxy et al), or just disable internet access to IE entirely (run it on a different subnet).

Sorry, but I dunno how iMesh works... but you should be using a better file sharer anyway :p... even though they're illegal an' all ;)

Just make sure your firewall can handle popup's (you are using a firewall arn't you ?).

Atguard does and can be found on the internet (it has been bought by Norton and baster.... modified to create NPF). I am sure there are many other packages that also provide this.

Stop Imesh from attempting outbound website communication and you get no popups. Works with most if not all applications that produce ad popups.
