Photo Transfer

Hi,
I have Windows Xp (if that has any significance) and using CD Writing Wizard I transfer my pics onto CD.

The problem I keep having is that the pics do not all transfer in the order I want them to.

I have tried sorting them alphabetically but still they do not all go in the required order, there's always the odd few that go out of sync.

I find it is useful to have them in order particularly for holiday pics.

Does anyone know how to do this so it works every time? And is it possible to do a fade sequence on the CD to be viewed on DVD player?

have you tried using Nero burning software? the software you mention does not sound like anything i have used. As to your question about ordering, how are the photos labled? for example 01.jpg 02.jpg?

yes but generally requires a specific type of dvd player or additional software such as this (http://www.vso-software.fr/products/photodvd/photodvd.php) - its not free
