Typically i would say Gmail but Googlemail is the UK name. whatever you call Googles Email service, you can now check your email with IMP devices.
IMAP allows you to leave your emails and folders on the IMAP server unlike Pop3 which leaves everything in an unorganised mess.

To enable IMAP:

1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page.
3. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
4. Select Enable IMAP.
5. Setup your client and click Save Changes.

Nice!

If only I used my Gmail account more :p

Think I'll switch to using IMAP instead of POP3 just for geeky kicks, however.. :D

Update: We have received confirmation this is an incremental roll-out so if you don't have the option in your account as such you're not being persecuted.

Just set my account for IMAP with Mail. Seems to work really well!
