Don't update your graphics driver and wait for the next one...?

EDIT- going to elaborate... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If your current driver works fine, and the new driver has problems with your software, then just don't use it, and try next month's update instead.

Try using Driver Cleaner Pro (http://www.download3k.com/System-Utilities/Other-Utilities/Download-Driver-Cleaner-Professional.html) (that's the old/FREE version) to get rid of the older Forceware drivers... reboot the system... then try installing the new drivers again?

Try running DCP in safe mode - F8 on boot IIRC

I assume everything was hunky-dory until the point where you tried installing the latest drivers?

Only...

... i just may go and buy ATi cards ?

That's a bit drastic, just because you can't install/update to Nvidia's latest drivers

If your system was running fine before these drivers were released... simply forget about installing the latest drivers?

System restore to before you changed the drivers. I follow the 'if it isn't broken (or vulnerable), don't fix it' - update graphics divers only if there is a problem of some kind.

I know how to install/update graphics drivers but when i play games the pc just crash and reboot itself because of a file called nvlddmkm.sys.

Keith, have an equal card here, and the best drivers i found for vista is the 162.22 series, be sure to install the 64-bit versions for 64 bit vista, that also causes this error.
