Customize Remote Control

Hi,

I`m trying to find a remote control with software for the PC that will let me customize what `keypressses` the remote keys send. Or alternatively software that when running will customize what the MCE remote does.

What I basically need to do is to control a media application by remote. I`d need for example to be able to set software for a press of key [1] on the remote to send [ctrl-1] to the pc.

Anyone got any ideas on any software or remote system. I`ve tried Girder with the MCE remote, with no joy. Im running Vista home premium.

Girder should work and tbh most media centre applications have this sort of thing built in anyway ??

Failing that you could get a logitech harmony remote and program this how you like. They are great pieces of kit (especially is WAF is important to you)
