x1300XT Driver

Hey,
Using a club3d ATI x1300xt (PCI-E, 512MB), but the drivers just won't install.

After installing the drivers and CCC using the .exe, after restarting windows acts just like it did before. My graphics all run fine using the Windows Vista Ultimate default driver, and im still getting a fairly decent FPS on all my programs/ games ect, but i suppose i really should use the proper drivers.


.....If nothing else it'll stop Steam winging that my graphics driver needs updating :rolleyes:......

Has anybody else had any trouble installing ATI drivers on Vista Ultimate, and if so, how do i get them working?

p.s, ive also tried using the Omega drivers, but no joy :(

Make sure that they are the *very* latest drivers for windows vista. After you have install the drivers, if windows it using it's own drivers instead of ATI's you might want to try updating the drivers via the device management.
