Little known fact: I love mecha. If it stomps about and generally blows stuff up, I'm all for it ( though for my money, you don't get any better than a Madcat / Timberwolf ... )
I've heard of folk start mech based mods, including a Tachicoma, but they never seem to go anywhere ( when, I imagine, the crushing reality of the sheer scale of the project hits home ). However, this fellow has done us proud; He has made an Atlas out of oak! Oak! The glow in the dark paint just adds that finishing touch, I feel.
p.s. Extreme Tech seem to be running a case mod compo at the minute, with some other stunning cases, such as a 6odd foot tall Optimus Prime
