For my money, you can't beat a solid Logitech mouse. I've had my MX500 for years and you'll only be able to pry it from me when it finally dies...which doesn't seem like is gonna be any day soon.
Clearly, they've an eye on Microsoft/Razer and taken inspiration from the Habu, but to much better effect: The G9

Give it a second to sink in...at first glance, it looks a bit Gundam...maybe a little bit like a monotone Nerf gun....just keep looking....maybe have a beer or two. It'll start looking pretty soon enough. Come back when you're there...
The back end of it comes off, so you can decide if you want to put all your palm weight on ( use the chunky back-end ) or if you prefer to move it with your finger-tips alone ( loose the back weight, drop out the weight cartridge, make it nice and light ).
The mouse also has onboard memory, to store "profiles" and configuration.
The other "new" product, is the revised G15:

More or less the same, but the screen is fixed in place ( they must have had issues with folk snapping them off, but I never heard of any such cases ). The nice thing about the G15 is the "Game Mode" which disables the Windows Key when gaming, to prevent you from dropping back to the desktop by mistake.
