"Bouncers from a nearby nightclub said they saw the car being driven erratically before it crashed into a bin. They said the driver then got out and ran off."

Great way to avoid attention.. :confused:

I think that the media are making people more scared about this and blowing it out of proportion (pun not intended). There is no reason why the news should solely focus on this car bomb, life goes on and it didn't go off.

Life goes on, Cosmo, because it didn't go off and kill people so it does really deserve the coverage.

Its probably just a drunk driver who had a back street LPG conversion done to his old Merc 180.

haha, it wouldn't suprise me. I think it's good that the police (possibly) prevented a (potential) car bomb, but in the 15 minutes it took for me to eat my breakfast this morning, i heard it mentioned at least 5 times! As little as there is going on in the world (Tim Henman being rubbish as usual, teenages getting stabbed, a government reshuffle), i'm sure they didn't need to reuse the same story.

They are to be praised for thwarting another evil terrorist's plan, but don't shove it in my face continually.

Something you must learn about terrorists, they may they think that they are acting politically for justice. But in reality they are attacking your way of life. Making your doubt your leaders dictions. weather we had Tony Blair, brown, Cameron as PM we would still be attacked because we are free. and they are hate, and hate spreads.

they are not in general population cells. they are in there own Cell away from other prisoners.
