PS3 mouse ( 3rd party )

I hate using analogue sticks for console FPS ( in fact, I don't play console FPS because I hate having to use the sticks ) but this third party mouse / mouse-board / WASD replacement combo for the PS3 may help those like me to get more out of their games.

The only concern I would have is that most console shooters are tweaked to run on the gamepad, so this mouse could make games noticeably harder/easier ( I can't decide ).

Thats looks pretty cool and should also be a great help if you have to fly something. If it's like the socom headset for PS2 it will work on PC without drivers.

I think they did a great job of 'consolizing' a mouse. Any great console FPS (which I believe is a genre in itself, distinct from PC fps) will feel distinctly iffy with a mouse and keyboard designer: less of a case of which is better (as thumbsticks are easier to control close range/shotguns/etc whereas the mouse is far better at snap-to precision aiming), but about as fun as playing Counter Strike: Source with a PS2 pad.
