On a fresh install of Vista with nothing installed yet I pop in my newish memory stick (CnMemory) and it tells me that I could get faster speeds if I plugged it into a high speed USB 2.0 port. Which it must be?

I want to use that ready boost thing but I cant probably because it thinks its USB 1.1 or whatever.

Delete the USB hub drivers from control panel, restart and that generally fixes the problem (id did on XP anyway)

Is the memory stick USB2.0?

Have you installed the correct USB drivers?

are you plugging it straight into a port on the mother bourd or into a hub?
