I have decided on NOD32 for AV software as this seems to work quite nicely and has decent reviews about its actual virus protection.
This however leaves me with a choice of firewall. In reality the only real thing I am looking for in a software firewall is outbound protection.
Anyone got any recomendations of firewalls that work under Vista and have decent outgoing protection without hogging too many resources ??
(Looking for something other than the built in firewall. I know it now does two way protection, albeit not by default, but I would rather have something that is not quite so embeded into the OS)
