What did you find wrong with the matrix then?

Parts of the special effects were missing e.g. the fight scene on the roof, they shoot the Desert Eagles at each other and the bullets that missed didnt go into the building in the background.
And there are other things which take longer to explain.

Maybe that's because the matrix is only a graphical representation of reality therefore if the bullets are only imaginary, and are the buildings, then there is nothing to collide each other. Could be intentional!

(just go and pick up my marketing cheque from the Wachowski brothers now)

NO coz on the roof was in what we call the real world so it has to have actually hit the building.

I think hes right sorry. The building scene does not take place in the 'real world'. The real world after all is where Neo awakes to.

The building scence takes place inside the matrix. There are tons of deliberate glitches that occur when ever something new is added to the matrix (dejavu a common one. In various scenes if you look carefully you will also see an uncommon number ot twins which is another deliberate glitch. The colour red is also assosiated with glitches).

Sorry and all that but your errors don't add up :D.

To be honest I think that if there is a c  ck up then people just assume that it has been put the on purpose (or that's what the director would like to think anyhoo).

Going off topic (not like us I hear being screamed!!!!) Have you picked up the 'funnies' in Pulp Fiction?

ie, when it gets to the stage when Jules and Vincent are shooting the 'flock of seagulls' guy and the blokie is hiding in the bathroom and pops out to shoot them, he misses, they turn and look at bulletholes in the wall and wonder how he missed, they kill him!

If you rewind to just before they start shooting, you can see the bulletholes already in the wall.

Okay, I know, I too am a film nerd! :D :D :D

Ive noticed things like that before, they make you laugh, and also makes you feal relieved that noone is perfect, but it might have also been because they had a tight budget and couldnt afford the bullet hole strike explosives. :D

I took quite an interest in Tarantino movies from when he first started off and I would not be surprised if he did it on purpose for Pulpers! With it being about Pulp (ie crap) comics!

What a soundtrack as well. It always amazes me how some films get the music just right! I suppose if you do it every day then, same as anything, you get good at it but some of these tunes are just perfect.

hmm....
if you remember, in teh matrix, the digital reality had all the pyhsical rules of our own. while neo etc could bend, even break teh rules, i doubt the bullets could.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahahaaaa....a.aaaa.aaa.
dear god, ive become comic book guy.

im gonna frag yo asses

iGGy2k - a glitch does not have to conform to the 'rules'.

With The Matrix, surely it is all down to perception. Neo knew that the Matrix is not real and therefore knew there would not be bullet holes so there wern't. Unfortunatly he did not believe enough to know he couldn't get hurt, hence the bullet grazing him. ;)

Band of Brothers is superb. I have seen them all and have most in widescreen DivX format. It will also be a must buy series for me but as for them making a second series, what are they going to take for subject matter ?. The war is over at the end of the first series and the book ends where the series ends (the book is very good but consentrates on the emotions and frame of mind of the men who were there. The book came out before the series).

I particually liked the talkie parts from the men portrayed in the series.
