I'm part way through building a carPC, but need some idea's for an in dash display / head unit.
The components I've got so far are:-

Epia VIA M10000 motherboard
1GB stick Kingston memory
120GB HDD ( laptop style )
M1-ATX psu
Sony DWQ78A13 dvd/cd
All to be housed in a shiny blue Voom PC case.

This is the first pc I'll have ever built, so am I going in the right direction?
I'm after an in dash display, but don't want to lose the FM radio, so to my mind ( and after some digging around on t'interweb ) I either need to buy a display / head unit that has both functions, or try to lay my hands on something like a Psion Wavefinder that plugs into the usb port on the pc.
Does anyone have any opinions on which way to go, or any recommendations for the display?
Thanks for you help!

Dan.

Hiya,
Yes, I did have a look, but I wondered if anyone had any personal recommendations!
I like the look of the xenarc unit, but still have the problem of losing the fm radio. The other thing is it needs to be discreet - I don't want anything that screams ' steal me! ' lol

There's another option that a lot of Car PC enthusaists use, which is to buy an FM head unit that has aux input, and use that for your FM, and switch it aux for the Car PC.
