Seen it at the cimema this week and thought it was excellent with Tom Hanks & Paul Newman what would you expect. 9/10 from me.

Anyone else seen it?

It is a great film and Tom Hanks makes the film, but if it was anyone else could this film still have been a success? Probably not. It seems to have been engineered to win awards.

Good film though.

That said, it was a good film - and it really made me jump when Tom Hanks got shot at the end. You knew it was coming, but still. Hated the kid though.

Well I WAS looking forward to watching this film. :D Tom Hanks is a brill actor he plays a wide variety of characters so I expect no more than excellence from him and this film. If Sam Mendes put as much effort in this as he did to American Beauty then I will be pleased.
