Okay, exactly how powerfull is this? i read somewhere its 55w ? Is it me or does that seem a little.. well..

Actually its about 54.35 watts :)

It may not seem like much but remember that the epia running with a cd-rom drive and harddisk takes up just 47 watts and you'll see its more that enougth.

okay, so this would be alright to use to power a VIA Epia C3 800 with lappy dvd and 20gb hdd being used to ply dvds etc ? im a bit paranoid coz i read a reveiw where someone couldnt get that setup to work with an 80w psu :confused:

Some PSUs just won't work with the Epia, most will. One case of this is the recent aluminium itx cases that shipped with non compatible PSUs (which as now been sorted).

The cupids cases external psu is itx approved. Its not a case of wattage here.
