Hullo there.
I've been asked to make someone a dinky cheap media PC jukebox thing to be plugged into their TV for general whatsit type stuff.
Being a Linux fan, I naturally want Linux installed on it so that I can get away with a small hard drive (all the stuff is stored on a network server) and a low power processor.
Almost all of the SFF units have onboard everything-I-need, but I was wondering if they were software controlled? I've had my eye on the VIA EPIA (cheap and very dinky), but am worried about the NIC, VGA and AC97 audio - anyone know if they will work in Linux or not? I've tried browsing the VIA specs and a few *nix hardware sites, but no mentions are ever made...
