Whats the main differences between the SV models and the SS models?

I quite like the idea of one of these for a little MP3 server in the front room!

chipset - sv is via and ss is sis.

Oh ok! It seems like the SS models are the ones to go for anyway. I like the look of the SS40F so might grab one.. would make an excellent DVD player as my folks have decided to keep DVD player!

The SS are the newer , more advanced models. SV work with ViaC3 or Intel Celeron/Pentium III CPUs, wheras the newer SS40/50/51 units are for use with AMD(40) and P4 (50/51) CPUs.
