What does the 'G' stand for? how is it different to the one without 'g' at the end? thx

There is only one. SS51G is its full title but is often shortened to just SS51.

Now if I remember rightly the model numbers refers to the chipset on the motherboard.

EG SN40

The 40 after refers to the model revision if I remeber correctly

The Letter after is just an internal Shuttle thing
