Does anyone think it would be a good idea to try and get one of the EPIA 5000 into a N64 case and use it as an MP3/DivX player? IMO I wouldn't have much room for it so I'm looking for possible ideas like USB HDD's or CD-ROM drives.

Nice idea, but it would be literallly impossible to fit the mobo and a hard disk or dvd player in there.. and thats not even considering the psu.

The only possibility power wise would be teh usual £60 cupid case method where you simply remove the PSU from it for an external PSU.

No Divx movies will be possioble the one board you choose. You need the 800 version or the Epia 933 M. As splaty said it may be a squeeze, I can't remember the dimensions of the N64 but is not far off the now common NES Epia projects is it?

Any hout you may need to look for another system. CDi hasn't been done yet although someone is currently considering it, nor has the CD32 or CDTV.

I just measured my n64, its 24cm x 18cm

So yeah I don't think it would be too appropriate :( Can always try though :D
