in a couple of the reviews i have read the reviewer has mentioned problems with stability, especially when used in conjunction with 2700 memory. Anyone out their own one of these, could plz give me some detail about your experiences. Thanks

Had mine for a week or so now
Running with a P4 2.00Ghz, 1x Crucial 512 MB PC2100 stick, 80GB 8mbcache Western Digital drive and a GeForce 4 Ti4200. Running XP Pro

Most I've had time to run it so far has been 6 hours or so but temperature has been OK so far and our house has been like an oen with the recent weather. No instability problems at all to report (and what a breeze to put to gether :-))

Please remember the Machines issue to review sites consited of two different revisions of motherboards. Some sites had a 1.1 motherboard (the release version I think), and some said they had an older pre release version. Also I think theres a newer BIOS out now for it. I am yet to see anyone have big stability problems withe SS51 other than the review sites.

Where's the new bios? All I can find is FS51S025 Date code: 07/17/2002 checksum: E600. Initial release.

That's the version I already have on my system.

Mines crunced it's way through 50 odd SETI packets in a week been running pretty much 24/7 as a stress test :} no sign of instability at all.

P4 1.8@2.4 'Generic' Komplett PC2700@166

It's a know 'bug' that the ultra ram timings don't work well with most(all?) memory. The review sites that had trouble may have been using this setting.
