Great forum. Answered a lot of my queries already. However.... to clarify:
1. Graphics card? I'm planning on using the HTPC for the usual display (via 32" LCD) and recording of TV & viewing DVDs but also as a means of playing retro low-res arcade games via MAME. High powered cards don't seem to be essential. Any recommendations?
2. Onboard Sound vs Sound Card? Will be hooking the HTPC upto a Sony Home Cinema amp ideally via Toslink optical cable? Decent on-board via optical SPDIF connector seems to be sufficient?
3. Will be using NTL STB thus would two analogue tuners be the ideal setup for HTPC?
