I have a Pentium 2.53ghz (533FSB) and a MSI 645e Max2-LRU mobo and 2 x 512mb PC2700, cas2.

The manual states for processors with a FSB between 133mhz and 166mhz (which I think is the setting I need?) I have a choice of the following : 4:3 1:1 4:5 and By SPD? as I dont know anything about these settings I would be most grateful is someone could advise what setting I need to use for best performance? and in english what is meant by these terms and the differences!

Cheers, :) :) :)

Your CPU runs at a defualt 133Mhz. The dividers pertain to your memory timings as so

4:3 = CPU running at 133Mhz & memroy at 100Mhz
1:1 - Memory set to run at same FSB speed of CPU (in your case 133)
4:5 = 133Mhz FSB CPU & 166Mhz RAM, which is the optimal setting for your system as specified.
