Hey, im doing some partime work for a local investment company atm, where we have to fill in pre-printed forms by tabing across and puting in spaces to try and get the best fit for the forms. i was wondering if there was any way that i could setup word or somthing to have the form in the background so i could see what i was doing, but not actaully print it so i can use the pre-prited forms supplied.

cheers :D

You mean make a template document with visible lines in word, which dont print out onto the paper though?

yes, that sorta thing but it would have to be plced percisely to coincide with the form...thats why i was trying to find a way to have the form in the background but not be able to print it.

i got an idea, if you can get the image that you want to have on the background into an image format such as .jpg etc in 1:1 scale, you can add it to the word document as a watermark, so you can fill in everything precisely and then when you have entered everything in, you just remove the watermark.
so when it prints onto the paper with the outlines marked onto it, everything will be lined up.
