Budget for new system

Hi all,

I don't need a build or anything - I already mailed Kustom for this... I was just wondering if £700 is a decent budget for a gaming system (just the base station without monitor etc)

I'm playing City of Heroes and EQ2 at the mo, albeit on low detail as my poor GF4Ti4600 is creaking and protesting..hehe.

Just wondering if that will be enough to get the job done - I was going to budget about £1200 but am trying to avoid it seeing as I'm trying to save for a deposit right now :(

ye £700 should be ok. cheapish case decent psu 1gb or 2 value ram 200gb hdd a 939 chip and a 7900gt and you'll be sorted

mine cost me 1.5 k....now.,..it's worth probably 700, lol
And it runs most modern things fine so you should be fine. :D

Yeah I've had enough of paying for all the latest kit only for it to be worth a few hundred quid less in a month's time :) Things advance so quickly these days it's not worth it :)
