Hi,
I read that the Geforce 6600GT chipset has an onboard temperature sensor that (if the board manufacturer hasn't disabled it) can be queried from the nVidia control panel. I've got a Club3D 128MB AGP GeForce 6600GT card here, and the sensor details do not appear in the nVidia control panel.
Is there any way to enable the sensor? The consensus seems to be that a video BIOS upgrade is required - if that's the case, if the flash fails, can the card's BIOS be repaired ("bad flash recovery")?
Thanks,
Phil.
