As long as your graphics card has dual outputs (and most do - be it a stanbdard VGA + DVI, or twin DVI)... then yes- you can watch independent screens ;)

As it tells you on that Samsung page... yes, you can...

PC Display Compatible:

Samsung LCD TVs can function as a high-resolution PC monitor and a high-end TV without any sacrifice in picture quality.

The reason i ask this one is coz i've been goggling it and people seem to be having problem wiht it and some people saying it can't be down to easily. One guy managed to get his tv in full screen and this pc monior on the pc side by the mouse was on the tv side so you couldn't use the pc monitor to work on. I just found another person asking the same thing

and also i'd need to somehow match the outgoing res to match the LCDTV max res which is 1366 x 768 while the card say its hdtv output is 1920 x 1080

The card i was thinking of is this one
