Just got myself a Ahanix MCE302 HTPC with NEC ND3550A 16x DVD±RW Dual Layer Machine and a 60Gb WD1600JD Western Digital SATA Drive on Ebay but now i need to fill it.
My basic requirements are:
To be able to connect to broadband
Firewire for digital editing
PVR from external digital satellite box.
Manage Photo's etc
Silent Use (or as silent as can be)
Decent temperature control.
I wont be using it for gaming.
I've been looking at motherboards (Micro ATx) but there are so many out there that i don't know what to go for and what CPU and power supply would be adequate for my use.
Any advice would be gratfully appreciated.
I'm also on quite a small budget.
