Mobo and CPU question.

Ok heres the deal. I have an Asus A7A266 mobo, which is currently running a 1 gig athlon. Now i have read up on the mobo and it says that it supports upto an XP2100. Anyone know if this is correct??
If i buy this CPU how do i go about fitting it?? Not the actual slotting it onto the mobo part, i know that bit but will I have to upgrade the bios or do anything else to make it work???

the a7a266 should be capable of handling a 2100+ and probably more, though above that it does become more dodgy. it may require a bios upgrade though, check ASUS (http://www.asus.com) website, there should be information there including the new file and instructions on how to install it. that just leaves installing the heatsink....by far the hardest part

Why is installing the heatsink the hardest part??? No diff to installing any oter heatsink is it??
