Could any one tell me why the light on my floppy drive is allways on, there is no disk in the drive.

one end of the cable between the floppy drive and the motherboard isnt in correctly.

Change one end around.

no,sorry
i figured it out there was a bent pin on the Floppy drive so i put it back in place
and i also had the floppy end of the cable on one row of pins,
thanks for the sudjestion anyway
