How do i play the sounds from my Pc throught my sterio speakers

Get a headphone jack to RCA cable and plug the standard jack into ur soundcard and the red/white RCA lead into your hifi, assuming it has auxiliary input.

One prob i have is that I have two PCs linked up to this Hi-Fi with Aux and Phono in. When the PC plugged into the Aux is off the phono connected one is good, but when their both on, the pc on the Phono connection picks up a very low pitched background, "hmmmmmmm", whic is very annoying. Anyone have nay ideas? somethin to do with potential differece of the voltages i think. :confused:

the phono plugs are for vinyl decks, which use a magnetic pickup or a line amplifier or something (i forget what) and this extra bit of kit in the phono is what makes it humm cos it is being amplified. i used to study this stuff but ive forgotten most of it now. anyway what to do is use a 2 way switchable lead into your aux so you can switch between either computer. or just switch the plugs everytime you want to use one
