First post !!! Heehee

Where does everyone buy albums from ? (Don't say kazza or morpheous :) )

I feel I gotta recommend these two sites :
www.cdwow.co.uk (http://www.cdwow.co.uk) - lots of cool new cds at great prices, quick delivery !!!
www.cheap-cds.com (http://www.cheap-cds.com) - good USA site for getting 'hard to find' albums - tend to be not so cheap after shipping costs etc but still better value sometimes than buying 'imports' from chain stores

you should check out www.audiogalaxy.com (http://www.audiogalaxy.com)

They've got just about any kind of music you can think of there, all free for downloading!

I've found stuff there you can't even get on CD! :D

theres a good wee record shop up in glasgow, good for all your moshpit rock &oldie rock and rock and hard rock, no soft rock though, you get that from volcanoes. apart from that, gnutella and a shiny new 16*

OK I should have expanded that to say --

"Don't say Kazza, Morpheous or AudioGalaxy" :)

I must say though, I don't download MP3s much, but probably since the dawn of MP3 downloads I've probably bought more music than before - MP3s are cool for checking out one or two songs from a band before deciding to buy their CD, or for (as DarkAngel says) getting rare stuff that you couldn't find in the shops etc. What I don't think is right is downloading full albums off the net - if you like a band - buy their CD, because anything else is just stealing . Obviously, everybody is free to do what they like but what annoys me is when you talk about a band or song and someone says 'oh yeh I'm right into them' but all they have done is download that whole band's collection from napster or similar ... that isn't cool :)

missing is cool, ain't been there for a while... where are they now, I'm sure someone said they were moving...

On a local basis, I thought Orion records were cool - they kept plenty of 'bootleg' live recordings, and those are usually pretty tough to track down. They sold Promo CDs too, which is probably not allowed , but I got the promo edition of Feeder's Polythene album and their 'Cant Dance to Disco' single which I got signed by the band at a later date - and that is just worth SOOO much to me :)

Feeder r cool.
