I used to go quite often, but someone slagged me once for having long hair (which seems bizarre in a 'rock' club) and I've kinda been put off. I haven't been there for about 6 weeks. Too busy just now anyway :)

I used to go to the 'Piv' on rock nights, now those were the days.....
I remember the powerhouse when it was heavy rock classics through and through and even before that (when it was called Toledo Junction).
Oh and did I mention you guys make me feel old!

T'was a fine show Ron Maiden put on at the Piv. August/September 1990 if me memory serves me right.
Wolfsbane, with Blaze Bailey, provided more than adequate support.

Indie. Um. Well sort of. I'd like to move away from 'Coldplay' and 'Travis' in defining indie though. Varying between the three ends of the indie spectrum - indiedance (a la Death in Vegas), indie rock (a la radiohead, jj72), indiepop (Bellatrix, no doubt). Also, technocountry (Alabama 3), punkfolk (Hefner) not folkpunk mind.
Also, punk, general rock, rock'n'roll, old skool hiphop (furious five & flash old skool).... Ummm...
