... what a damn fine CD. I've followed these guys for a while now, got all their albums - and this one really is damn fine too. Nice 1 :)

When I argue I see shapes, yes. Lots of them :)

I've seen em live twice, they do an impressive show. Best live song has gotta be Self Healer, from their first 6 track album. It's mental :)

idlewild as this years glasto, great quote from Roddy -

"I think this is the first time ever we've felt like we were a good time band"

That said, I'm a bit less impressed by remote part than the earlier stuff - Its just not rocky enough :-( And American English is really quite dull.

well in there earlier gigs, they trashed the place, they seemed to have calmed down now, thier older stuff is excellant stuff like satan polaroid thats class :)

the new album is under a new producer from america, they recorded most of the album over there.

They're definitely different - yes, but I like both the old heavy stuff and the new songs. American English is a really class song , you just gotta take it a different way.
