Game running slow at a certain point..

Hey there...I'm hoping this in the right place and that someone might be able to give me a hand..

I'm running a GeForce 5500 in my Shuttle (see specs in sig) and recently when I've been playing the Chronicles of Narnia game (I know :o - I'm not that much of a gamer and always liked the books!). The game runs fine, apart from recently I've noticed that once it gets to a certain level and beyond, the game starts to slow down - charaters slow to respond, moving slowly in general.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Is is the gane or is something going wonky with my PC?

Any suggestions welcome - let me know if you need more info :).

Could be your FPS, download and run Fraps and it should show you your FPS ingame, i it dropes below 30, thats thedanger level. http://www.fraps.com/

FPS isn't a cause, it's a result.

Some games simply have fast and slow bits where areas of a level are more open or might have leaks in them...

Have you tried dropping the graphics settings and seeing if these areas work okay then?

i would also say to make sure you have the latest drivers for your card.
