View Full Version : Best & Worst Albums
Now I get a lot of albums by various artists some very good and some dreadful so what are the best and worst albums that peaple have bought.
I'll start with Meat Loaf Welcome to the Neighborhood though the Bat out of Hells do run it close. For the worst it has to be Manic Street Preachers Know Your Enemy - The pits.
Must disagree...I love "Bat out of Hell"......and also "Welcome to the Neighbourhood".....I like a bit of theatrics! :D :D

Best album... hmm, tough call. Probably Dookie by Green Day. Or possibly 'Make Yourself' by Incubus. Perhaps 'Polythene' , one of Feeder's older albums. Or Mighty Mighty Bosstones 'Let's Face it'. Those are all great, I've had them for a long time and still listen to them a lot. By my mark, that makes a good CD - if I'm still playing something that I bought years ago then it's good :)
Worst CD's..
hmm, most recently would be P.O.D. - the single 'Alive' sounded good, but the album is really poor. Should have just downloaded the one song :) Korn's new album is pretty disappointing. Other than that, I think I like all of my CD collection (about 200 albums now!) , apart from a couple of poor bootlegs...

Nirvana- Nevermind or Metallica Master of puppets, i could go through so many more and go into depth but im busy :)
And have to agree with you in the P.O.D album gram is like pan pipe moods.
Sorry if my first post wasn't clear 'Welcome to the neighborhood' is the Best Album I have bought, although as I said 'Bat out of Hell I & II' run it close.
Sorry! I didn't understand ur post...on reading it again it is clearer....just couldn't understand anyone not liking those 2 albums....and had to respond immediately!! :D They r among my faves...don't really have a worst one......most CDs we have now I like most tracks....prob the most disappointing album was "Nylon Curtain" by Billy Joel...from years ago. ;)
I agree that 'Nylon Curtain' was a bit disapointing but then 'Storm Front' was a truly excellent album.
I agree...most of his stuff has been excellent over the years...what a voice. :)
the best album i have bought is probably muse- origin of symetry. it was an impluse buy and its still gr8.
i simply love Americana by The offspring, pure class. I also love the latest Blindside Album, Silence. As well as all the P.o.d albums, and you gotta love those Rammstein albums! :D Hmm, as for worst album, thats gotta be.. S club 7... No, i did not buy it, some idiot got me it for christmas, needless to say, that never got a look in me' hi fi! :D
My best album changes weekly. One day it could be something from Oasis, next a NIN album, then say Radiohead. So it's hard to say :/ However, worst albums - if I don't like an album, it goes to ebay, therefore tuning my collection to perfectio :)
best album for me probly has to be chillies - californication.
or anything by queen
worst album is easy, anything with 'now' in it
lol, i gotta agree with iggy over the 'now' thing. :D
