Lanarchy 22

Well the date was unanimously agreed apon, as some of you will know, its -

Saturday 11th March

As usual we will be running dedicated servers and competitions of CS:Source, CoD2 and Battlefield 2 with some UT2004 thrown in for good measure. Other games are welcome, if enough people have them, we'll gladly get a game going.

Everything will kick off at the usual 10am and we'll go right though, stopping only for some pizza, until 10pm. There is free parking right outside, and with it being only 3 or 4 minutes from both the M25 and M1, it's a nice easy venue to get to from most of London and the Midlands.

The cost as always is only £10 if you pay on the door, or save £2 by paying in advance. To see how payment can be sent, see this thread (http://www.lanarchy.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3556). Anyone contributing to the running of the Lanarchy CSS servers will receive the discounted entry rate of £5.

Radicl.com (http://www.radicl.com) have generously offered us some prizes, such as Call of Duty 2 or Age of Empires 3* for the LAN. Again we have a few small prizes including fans, RAM heatsincs and CSS key rings. If you know anyone that might be interested in sponsoring this LAN, please let us know.

If sign ups get as high as 30, we will add yet even more prizes

The star prize will be a Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard**

Prize winners will be decided in our usual manner, to give everyone a chance. Everybody gets a raffle ticket for coming, then extra tickets are awarded for winning competitions. At the end of the day, a draw takes place and the winners choose which prizes they would like.

While we cannot guarantee you a great day, almost everyone leaves telling us they had a fantastic time. See what some others have said about our events -

Yet again another great organised lan. Well done to the Lanarchy team again

I am looking to start my own LAN party in the same sort of area (St Albans), is the reason your not bigger because of lack of interest?

Yeah, pretty much. That and how expensive it is to rent venue's around the London area :(

I'm assuming you've done your research and such. Don't expect you can just post 'I'm having a LAN' on some forums and people will just turn up...

We've been going for 3 years or so, speant lots of money* and are only just now getting to the point we regularly have 25 to 30 people at our LAN's.

*If you're doing this to make money... don't, cause you don't, lol
