Help choosing a screen

Hi all.

I've just bought a landrover discovery and want to install a system in it. I need some advice before i spend my cash. I already have a pc, which will go in the back of the landrover, the video card has tv out.

So here goes the questions.

1. If i go for a screen thats built into the headunit but has no vga connector what would the picture quality be like.

2. If the screen isnt a touch screen, what options do i have for input.

3. Apart from xp, is the media car software good and do you need a touch screen.

1. on video picture would look fine .. but on anything else text etc .. it woould look crap

2.mouse keyboard ?? maybe a custom made stalk contoll ???

3.to make the most of media car software touch screen is recomended ...
