Well, as the title said, NFSMW will be released this Thursday. It will be available on all systems (PS2, PC, Xbox and 360 when it comes out, Gamecube, etc) and needless to say is definitely a buyer. I say this because I tried the demo for PC and I'm hooked even to the demo.
Big thing with this game for many will be graphics. You won't be disappointed. It'll have graphics to suit what you want.
Gameplay...worth it. Of course this game will be defined by how much you can make the police hate you...which turns out can be quite a lot. Also, if you hit a particular key, you get a sort of Max Payne effect, where time slows down for you to make a slightly more insane move to dodge police. Nos (Nitrous Oxide) regenerates instead of making you come insanely close to cars and powerslide (because anyone who played NFSU2 at some point hit the dead-end wall or the car that sent you from 200 to wrecked).
Gametypes to mention are Speed Trap (running through camera zones at the highest speed possible thus adding to total speed...winner has highest total speed), Tollbooth Timetrial (Where you run from tollbooth to tollbooth as fast as possible, racing the clock and evading police), Roadblock (Dodge 6 roadblocks, or bust through them, and escape police), and lastly Pursuit Length (evade police for 1 minute, then escape).
So, all in all, this game will be one to check out.
P.S.- Demo available here (http://www.needforspeed.com/).
