Now that iam on my new connection i was wondering how fast my connection speed was - d/l & u/l. The following link does a quick speed test -

Below is the connection speed and the standard kbs

512Kbps 100 - 500 Kbps
1Mbps 200 - 1000 Kbps
2Mbps 400 - 2000 Kbps

13468kbs not bad hey :eek: Anyways, post your results ;) Iam on ADSL2 btw.

nice speed there :) it makes mine look bad hehe, im on 1mb but my dad was on the other PC slowing it down :p

New ISP company, info @ www.bethere.co.uk :) All i can say to you guys is that it makes 1/2mb connection seem like dial up ;)

I dn't really get the full 24mb connect, becoz i live some way from my xchange. Iam connected @ 18.5mbps, which is not bad at all :cool: No waiting for d/ls to finish.

I'm in the middle of switching ISP's for the 3rd time in 4 months cos' the others were absolute shi*e. My current one is even worse... 2mb Plusnet Premier... look why i am changing:

^^and im on 2mb!!!

Been getting these rates for the past 3 weeks and Plusnet won't do anything about it

you sure its them and not the phone line ?

I ran test 3 times in less than a minute and got 980, 809 and 1289.

Seems a little flakey.

just re tried it, after using the speed booster, got a 6400

no it isn't.. the first speedcheck i used was the bt tracker one... can't remember link but BT showed it as perfectly fine.
